Our sub-committee is in charge of welfare, inclusion, and links with the community and other agencies. Specifically, we are tasked with:

  • Investigating and implementing strategies to promote the emotional well-being of young people and communities
  • Developing strategies for admissions and attendance to promote inclusive and transparent behaviours between schools and other authorities/agencies
  • Championing the experiences of disadvantaged and looked-after children so that they succeed in schools
  • Providing strategic input to the special schools strategy
